  • To get started with your Creative Palette, remove it from the package and soak it in VERY HOT water for 5 minutes.
    • The palette absorbs water to help reduce sticking of paints and materials to it.
    • The wet palette keeps your paints and media wet during printing.
    • This process also works well for cleaning your palette and removing extra paint.
    • You don't need to worry about drying it, the water inside it won't cause any long-term issues.
  • Put a craft mat or other protective surface under your palette to protect furniture from paints and inks.
  • Use acrylic paints, pigment ink refills, and other non-permanent and non-quick drying on your Creative Palette
  • Do not use lacquer based inks or paints, do not use multi-surface paints or inks.
  • Create lots of prints when you have your palette out.
    • You can save whole sheets of papers for future projects.
    • Keep printing until there's no more paint on your palette, these lighter prints will often be your favorites.
