Hydrangea Metal Stencil by Pam Hornschu

  1. Create 4 1/2 X 6 inch side-fold card from aqua cardstock.
  2. Ink-stencil with Teal ink through Flower Lace stencil using a large stencil brush over card front.
  3. Rub Memento colors over glossy cardstock panel, concentrating loosely on where flowers will end up and where leaves will be.
  4. Place hydrangea stencil over surface, and tape down with removable tape on all four sides. Spread Translucent paste over design using palette knife and spreader. Remove stencil to clean immediately, and set panel aside to dry thoroughly (overnight is best).
  5.  Replace clean stencil over top of pasted design. *Use barely damp baby wipes and/or damp paper towels to remove black ink from design areas. You can also use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab to get in more detailed areas, but be careful not to use too much as it can leave the surface sticky.
  6. Adhere panel to card front. Punch one hole on folded edge, and insert and wrap ribbon around to front, and tie bow.
